A leading healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate Crisis Worker to support victims of sexual assault at the Teesside SARC and other locations. This role involves being the first point of contact for service users, assisting with forensic evidence collection, and ensuring a high standard of care. Candidates should have a kind nature, IT skills, and a driving license. The position requires a genuine passion for victim support and comes with a shift pay structure.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a supportive or customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess a UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the 1st point of contact for service users.
  • Support service users and families during their visit to the centre.
  • Maintain high standards of DNA anticontamination between cases.
  • Liaise with other agencies regarding service user pathways.
  • Act as an advocate for patients during their time at the SARC.
