Lancaster City Council is seeking a proactive and motivated Service Support Supervisor to lead our dedicated Service Support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting vital services including Food Safety, Pest Control, Environmental Protection and Animal Licensing/Enforcement.
This post is currently part of a pilot project aimed at integrating service support teams across the Environment and Place directorate. The successful candidate will be expected to provide support across multiple sites, including White Lund, The Platform, and Morecambe Town Hall.
At the conclusion of the pilot, the effectiveness of the integrated hub will be evaluated. Should the changes become permanent, the role will be subject to Job Evaluation and Pay Grading to reflect any increased responsibilities.

This post is permanent. The hours of work are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is available dependant on the needs of the service.
