Job summary

Atlas Copco Holding GmbH in Uddingston is seeking a Service Planner to coordinate service activities from start to finish and ensure customers receive a smooth, efficient experience while supporting field service engineers.

Key duties include planning service work, creating orders, ensuring parts availability, and maintaining records across SAP/C4C. Hybrid working with ongoing development and a 36-hour week are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, administration, customer service, or coordination.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge.
• Experience in service industry is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling service work to meet customer needs and deadlines
• Creating, allocating, and releasing service orders to engineers
• Ensuring parts and resources are available ahead of visits
• Communicating with customers to arrange and confirm service appointments
• Tracking progress of jobs and supporting completion, invoicing, and follow-up work
• Working closely with engineers, managers, and internal teams to resolve queries and prioritise requests
• Maintaining accurate records across SAP/C4C and supporting contracts, purchasing, and ad-hoc projects when needed
