Job summary

Atlas Copco UK in Uddingston is seeking a Service Planner to coordinate service activities from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a smooth, efficient experience.

You will plan and schedule work, allocate orders, ensure parts availability, communicate with customers, and support engineers and internal teams, with a hybrid office environment and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Enjoy problem solving and improving processes.
• Experience in planning, administration, customer service or coordination (service industry helpful).
• Motivated to learn and develop knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling service work to meet customer needs and deadlines.
• Creating, allocating, and releasing service orders to engineers.
• Ensuring parts and resources are available ahead of visits.
• Communicating with customers to arrange and confirm service appointments.
• Tracking progress of jobs and supporting completion, invoicing, and follow-up work.
• Working closely with engineers, managers, and internal teams to resolve queries and prioritise requests.
• Maintaining accurate records across SAP/C4C and supporting contracts, purchasing, and ad-hoc projects when needed.

We’re looking for a Service Planner to join our team in Uddingston. In this role, you’ll coordinate service activities from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a smooth, efficient experience while supporting our field service engineers day to day.

• Planning and scheduling service work to meet customer needs and deadlines
• Creating, allocating, and releasing service orders to engineers
• Ensuring parts and resources are available ahead of visits
• Communicating with customers to arrange and confirm service appointments
• Tracking progress of jobs and supporting completion, invoicing, and follow-up work
• Working closely with engineers, managers, and internal teams to resolve queries and prioritise requests
• Maintaining accurate records across SAP/C4C and supporting contracts, purchasing, and ad-hoc projects when needed
