Job summary

Jago Consultants seeks an experienced Aftersales Manager / Service Manager for a busy main dealership in Maidstone, Kent. You will oversee the service department, drive performance, and champion customer satisfaction while managing costs and KPIs.

The successful candidate will lead and develop the team, maintain brand standards, and support long-term career progression within the dealer group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Service Department operations.
• Review CSI surveys and other metrics to monitor customer satisfaction.
• Challenge and drive the performance of Service department staff.
• Coach and motivate the team to sustain long-term staff engagement.
• Control department costs and monitor performance against targets and budgets.
• Lead recruitment when required and manage performance through analysis and targeted actions.
• Analyse performance data to identify weaknesses and plan improvement or marketing activity.
• Regularly review Service KPIs to track trends and outcomes.
