Service Engineer (Fire Suppression) / Permanent / Midlands (UK-wide Travel Required) / Salary up to £45,000

Position 1 Recruitment looking for a Fire Suppression Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will attend customer sites across the UK to carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnostics, and repairs on fire suppression systems, with a focus on sprinklers and water mist systems. You will ensure all systems are fully operational, compliant, and safe, while maintaining the highest professional standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours

The role is Monday to Friday, with weekends optional. Once fully trained and proficient with system knowledge (typically after six months), you will join an on‑call rota, covering one week at a time. Standard working days are 10 hours, with start and finish times varying, so flexibility is essential.
