Security and Fire Alarm Service Engineer

The Service/Maintenance Team are searching for a Security and Fire Alarm Service Engineer (SAFASE) responsible for providing safe, compliant service and maintenance of our clients' Security and Fire Alarms. This role covers coverage in Inverness and surrounding area, with 40–45 hour weeks and a salary range of £30,000‑£37,000 for 40 hours and £36,000‑£42,500 for 45 hours.

Field Service Engineer – FLT & MHE

Location: Victory Road, Derby (UK). The role involves servicing, inspecting, repairing and testing of Ground Support and Lifting equipment, both in‑house and on site. It is a customer‑facing job working independently and as part of a team across multiple UK sites.

Responsibilities
  • Inspection and testing of lifting equipment on and off site, ensuring compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining airframe tooling and ground support equipment.
  • Modification of lifting equipment as required.
  • Any other reasonable duties assigned by the UK Management team.
Qualifications
  • LEEA (or similar) qualified NVQ Level 3/Level 2 Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
  • Proven competency under LOLER & PUWER regulations.
  • Knowledge or experience of electrical maintenance is advantageous.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics.
  • Competent in reading technical drawings and associated documentation.
  • IPA F, CSCS and counterbalance qualifications are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports of work.
  • Valid driving licence and passport.
  • Willingness to travel regularly in the UK, and worldwide if required.
  • Desirable: Experience with ERP systems.
