Speedy Hire Plc in Tamworth is seeking a highly organised Service Coordinator to join our team. You’ll coordinate mobile Service Engineers, manage their schedules and ensure customers receive fast, first-class service.

This role involves planning engineer calendars, booking service, repair and maintenance jobs, responding to customer queries, and keeping records. A proactive, customer-focused approach and ability to work to targets are essential.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

• Previous experience in service coordination, scheduling, hire or similar environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate mobile Service Engineer schedules.
• Booking and prioritising service, repair and maintenance jobs.
• Responding to customer queries and onsite service issues.
• Keeping customers updated on engineer attendance and job progress.
• Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records.
• Working closely with Engineers and other internal teams.
• Managing changing priorities and responding to urgent requirements.
• Helping the team achieve service levels, targets and KPIs.
