Job summary

Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd in Tamworth is seeking a Service Co-ordinator to plan, schedule and monitor repair and installation work. You will allocate tasks to engineers and keep customers, suppliers and internal teams informed throughout each job.

The role is based in Tamworth, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with a salary between £28k and £32k depending on experience. Benefits include Pension, Training & Development opportunities and 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service coordination, scheduling or planning role.
• Experience coordinating field-based engineers or technicians.
• Strong diary-management and workload-prioritisation skills.
• Experience reviewing completed job documentation.
• Experience preparing jobs for invoicing or creating customer invoices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule repair, maintenance and installation jobs to field-based engineers.
• Allocate work according to engineer skills, location, availability and job priority.
• Coordinate emergency call-outs and respond to changes in the daily schedule.
• Maintain engineer diaries and minimise travel and downtime.
• Communicate job details and customer instructions to engineers.
• Provide customers with updates on appointments and progress.
• Review completed engineer worksheets for accuracy.
