Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join their friendly team in Glasgow. You will be the first contact for customers, engineers and subcontractors, coordinating reactive maintenance, PPM and quoted works to keep jobs on time and within budget.

In this busy role you will allocate engineers, manage schedules, raise purchase orders, and provide regular progress updates while maintaining accurate service records. A proactive communicator with detail orientation will thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Experience in a small business.
• Familiarity with service management or CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reactive, PPM and quoted maintenance works.
• Act as first point of contact for customers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Allocate engineers based on location, skill set and availability.
• Monitor progress and update schedules.
• Raise purchase orders for subcontractors and obtain ETAs and updates.
• Update and close completed jobs.
• Manage customer enquiries and provide regular progress updates.
• Prepare work instructions, service documentation and reports.
• Support the Project Manager with quotations and purchase orders.
• Carry out job costing and invoicing.
• Coordinate parts, access arrangements and engineer documentation.
• Maintain accurate service records and customer information.
