Evans Halshaw Ford Walsall is recruiting a Service Advisor to be the trusted link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless and transparent service experience. You’ll focus on customer care and aftersales performance while maximising revenue through health checks and service plan sales.

The role requires a proactive sales mindset, strong people skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high standards of service and gaining customer trust.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for service customers from check-in to post-visit follow-up.
• Understand customer needs and advise on safety-critical repairs, maintenance and manufacturer recommendations.
• Promote and upsell services identified through the vehicle health check while keeping customers informed.
• Support customer retention by promoting service plans and forward-booking future work.
• Coordinate with Technicians to ensure timely repairs and keep customers updated.
• Manage courtesy car bookings, collections/deliveries and accurate appointment scheduling.
• Build knowledge of products and services and represent the brand with pride and excellence.
• Contribute to targets across labour sales, VHC conversions, service plan sales and CSI scores.
