Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a motor trade group in Northampton for an experienced Service Advisor. You will greet customers, clarify service and repair needs, and maintain ongoing contact with a focus on exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role includes up-selling service plans, handling objections, and invoicing. Requires 1–2 years in a similar role and a full driving licence; Kerridge or Pinnacle experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous afte-sales experience in a main dealer (1–2+ years).
• Kerridge or Pinnacle experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a flexible attitude; focused on customer satisfaction.
• Full driving licence required.

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting onbehalf of an established motor trade group with an impressive site, based in Northampton. Our client is keen to add an experienced Service Advisor to their growing team on a full time basis, you will be responsible for the following:

Duties will include:

• To meet & greet your customers, & clarify their Service, MOT and/or repair requirements.
• To manage your customers effectively throughout the day, maintaining regular contact and offer excellent, personalised levels of service.
• To up-sell products & Service Plans, handle objections and record sales activity.
• To raise invoices for work done & meet the customers' time deadlines for collection of their vehicles.

Experience Required:

• You will currently be working in a similar position within a main dealer, with ideally a minimum of 1-2 years' aftersales experience.
• Kerridge or Pinnacle system experience beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a flexible attitude; is willing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• You need to hold a full driving licence.

The Package:

£24,000 Basic Salary (Experience Dependant). Uncapped OTE £31,000 + company benefits

Monday to Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm - Saturday morning (1 in 3 weekends) 08:00 - 13:00
