Job summary

Silcom Recruitment on behalf of a motor trade dealership group near Slough is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for a full-time, permanent role. You will greet customers, clarify service/MOT/repair requirements and manage them with personalised service.

The role requires motor trade experience, Kerridge knowledge, excellent communication, and a full driving licence. Salary £25–£28k base, OTE £30k+, Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a 1-in-3 rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar service advisor role, preferably in a motor trade.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication.
• Kerridge system experience preferred.
• Full driving licence required.
• 2 years of main dealer experience preferred.
• Team player with flexible attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established motor trade dealership group, with a new and used site based around the outskirts of Slough. Our client is keen to add an experienced Service Advisor to their growing team on a full time permanent basis, you will be responsible for the following:

Duties will include:

• To meet & greet your customers, & clarify their service, MOT and/or repair requirements.
• To manage your customers effectively throughout the day, maintaining regular contact and offer excellent, personalised levels of service.
• To up-sell products & service plans, handle objections and record sales activity.
• To raise invoices for work done & meet the customers' time deadlines for collection of their vehicles.

Experience Required:

• You will currently be working within a similar position, with ideally a minimum of 2 years’ main dealer experience.
• Prior experience in a customer service based role.
• Motor trade experience is essential.
• Kerridge system experience desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a flexible attitude; is willing to ensure customer satisfaction
• You need to hold a full driving licence.

The Package:

£25-£28,000 Basic Salary.OTE £30,000+.Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 6:00pm with an hour lunch. Saturday 8:30am – 1:00pm (1 in 3)
