Silcom Recruitment Limited are seeking a professional and experienced Service Advisor to join a family run business based in Reading.

The role involves delivering friendly customer service in person and by phone, managing workshop progress, scheduling MOTs and services, and keeping customers updated on progress.

The package offers a basic salary of £27,000–£29,000 with OTE up to £33,000 and a 40-hour week, with Saturday mornings on a rota.

Formación

• Experience as a Customer Service Advisor, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Experience in handling workshop communications and retailer/customer interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional and friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
• Manage workshop Work in Progress and schedule MOT and service appointments.
• Keep customers updated on vehicle progress.
• Clarify repair basis (Retail / Warranty / Contract) for customers and workshop.
• Promote additional workshop services and identify necessary parts for repairs.
• Obtain authorisation, order parts, and handle account details.
• Build rapport with staff and customers while maintaining accurate records.

The Role:

An ideal background would include experience as a Customer Service Advisor, preferably in the automotive sector. However, we also encourage applications from Service Advisors in other automotive fields.

The Package:

Basic salary: £27,000 - £29,000 with an OTE of up to £33,000!!

Hours: Monday to Friday [40 Hours per week]!!

(1-in-3) Saturdays [8:00am – 12:00pm] paid at 1.5 in addition to salary & bonus!!!
