Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor for a well-established motor trade dealership in Havant. This role targets an experienced Service Advisor or Senior Service Advisor aiming for progression into management within a progressive dealer environment.

You will support the Service Manager with day-to-day front-of-house operations, greet customers, manage bookings and vehicle handovers, and communicate progress and costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations within the service department.
• Act as role model, assist with training, mentoring, and maintaining high customer service standards.
• Welcome customers to the service reception, manage bookings, vehicle handovers and follow-up communication.
• Ensure clear communication between customers and workshop teams, providing updates on progress, costs and timescales.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency, aiming for first-time resolution.
• Assist in achieving departmental performance targets, including profitability, efficiency and CSI scores.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor/ Senior Service Advisor ready to endure a clear path towards management & seeking a fresh challenge within a progressive dealer environment.

Previous motor trade service advisor experience is essential, ideally with exposure to a supervisory or senior role, but this is not essential.

The Package:

Up to £34,000 Basic (experience dependent) + overtime & bonus - £38,000 OTE.

Monday to Friday - 8:00am until 5:30pm
