Job summary

Hendy Group's JLR dealerships in Southampton are seeking confident Service Advisors to transform outstanding customer service into action in a busy service department. You do not need automotive experience as training will be provided, but prior customer services experience is beneficial.

You will meet and greet customers, book vehicles, keep the database up to date and support the service team with professional sales techniques to drive profitability.

Qualifications

Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
Experience in a target-driven role is desirable.
UK driving licence is required.
Proficient in web systems, email and Excel.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet customers and book vehicles into the diary.
Update the customer database accurately.
Support the profitability of the service department using professional sales techniques.
Ensure customers are familiar with workshop services.
Record vehicle faults accurately.
Liaise with service technicians to track progress and ensure timely collection.
Obtain authorisation and payments for repairs.
