Job summary

Hendy Group is hiring Service Advisors for their Tonbridge service site. You will be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for servicing, meeting and greeting, booking diary entries, and maintaining customer data.

Role includes supporting service profitability, explaining workshop services, recording faults and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely handover. Full UK driving licence required; some prior customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with customers face to face and over the phone.
• Excellent organisation and time management to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Keen eye for detail; computing basics including web systems, email and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers as they arrive.

We have some excellent opportunities where you can put your outstanding customer services skills in to action. We are looking for confident customer services heroes to join us as Service Advisors in our busy Service departments at our Tonbridge BYD Vauxhall + Honda Peugeot Service site. You do not need automotive experience to be successful in this role - we will train that, but some form of customer services experience would be beneficial. The Opportunity: As a Service Advisor you will be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicle in for a service. In this role you will be:

• Meeting and greeting customers;
• Booking vehicles into the diary;
• Ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate;
• Support the profitability of the service department by using trained and professional sales techniques;
• Ensuring customers are familiar with the variety of workshop services;
• Accurately recording vehicle faults;
• Liaising with the service technicians to keep track of vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready for customer collection on time;
• Obtaining authority and payments for repairs., Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and DBS checks. You will have effective communication skills (verbal and written) in order to professionally interact with customers (face to face and over the phone);
• Excellent organisation skills;
• Able to manage your time effectively to prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines;
• Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic.
• A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning;
• Core skills in computing (essential), including web systems, email and use of excel, with a keen eye for detail;
• Previous experience in a target driven role (desirable but not essential);
• Experience with CDK (desirable but not essential);
