Silcom Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Service Advisor for a well-established business in Basingstoke. You will be the main contact for customers through their service journey, book vehicles, and liaise with the workshop to keep things moving smoothly.

Prepare cost estimates, invoices, and explain work carried out. Upsell where appropriate, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

Experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in automotive aftersales.
Strong customer service skills and ability to upsell appropriately.
Excellent communication and organisation to manage bookings and invoices.

Job description

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Basingstoke. Our client is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy and friendly aftersales team.

Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:

Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service or repair journey.

Book in vehicles and liaise with the workshop to ensure a smooth process.

Provide accurate cost estimates, prepare invoices, and explain work carried out.

Upsell additional products and services where appropriate.

Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.

The Package:

Basic Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience)

OTE: Circa £4,000 - £6,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm

Saturday: 1 in 4, 8:00am – 2:00pm (paid as overtime)
