Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor for a well-regarded motor trade dealership in Salisbury. You will be the central link between customers and the workshop, guiding vehicles through service checks and repairs with a focus on an outstanding customer experience.

Full brand training will be provided, and candidates with customer service experience are welcome. Typical hours are Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota, and a realistic £31k+ package with bonus is achievable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role is essential.
• Motor trade experience is beneficial but not required – full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop team, ensuring clear communication and a seamless service experience
• Greet customers on arrival and perform vehicle check-ins, reviewing relevant customer and vehicle data
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair status and additional service recommendations
• Coordinate with technicians to manage workshop flow and ensure timely completion of work
• Maintain accurate records, job cards, and documentation
• Deliver excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone

Silcom Recruitment is actively seeking a Service Advisor on behalf of one of our top clients, a reputable motor trade dealership group located in Salisbury. Our client is in search of a Service Advisor to become an integral part of their well-established and high-performing service team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals either with prior customer-facing experience or those looking to start a career in the motor trade — full brand training will be provided.

As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through to vehicle collection.

Package:

Salary: £27,000 + Bonus (Realistic & achievable £31,000+ package.

Monday to Friday [8:00am – 5:30pm]
