Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the motor trade industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident in upselling and suggesting additional products.
• IT literate, familiarity with systems such as CDK Drive or Kerridge.
• Well-organised with strong time-management skills as the Service Advisor.
• Full UK driving license, ideally with a clean record.
• Customer-focused attitude with a professional manner.
• Previous experience within franchised dealerships is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at vehicle drop-off and collection points, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
• Accurately record customer service requirements and communicate effectively with the workshop team.
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs or servicing.
• Provide transparent updates and explanations regarding work undertaken.
• Cost additional repairs or work recommended by technicians and gain customer approval before proceeding.
• Prepare and present accurate invoices, including recommended service plans and warranties.
• Upsell service products, warranties, and maintenance packages to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
