Job summary

A leading service provider in Southampton is hiring a Service Advisor to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5:45 pm. The ideal candidate should have at least 12 months of motor trade experience and a full UK driving licence. The role involves customer interaction, invoicing, and ensuring quality service delivery. Qualifications

• 12 months of experience as a Motor Trade Service Advisor.
• Possess a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers.
• Explain work to be carried out on vehicles.
• Complete courtesy car insurance paperwork.
• Update customers with progress and advise on needed work.
• Liaise with Workshop and Parts Departments.
• Invoicing for completed work.
• Explain invoices and take payments.
• Quote and sell service plans.
• Ensure warranty paperwork is completed.
• Deliver high-level customer service.

Basic Salary: £27,000 & OTE: £36,000 (uncapped)

No weekends – Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5:45pm

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers.
• Explain to customers the work due to be carried out on their vehicle.
• Accurate completion of courtesy car insurance paperwork.
• Call customers with progress updates and advise of any work needed.
• Liaise with the Workshop, Parts Department, Valeting Team and Drivers.
• Invoicing work carried out.
• Invoice explanation and taking payment.
• Quote, introduce and sell service plans.
• Ensure all warranty paperwork is correctly completed.
• Deliver highest level of customer service at all times.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Essential Requirements:
  • 12 months Motor Trade Service Advisor experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
• Desirable Requirements:
  • Franchised Dealership Experience
  • Kerridge or Pinnacle experience

• Basic Salary of £27,000
• On Target Earnings of £36,000 (Uncapped)
