Job summary

Confidential in Exeter is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy dealership. You will be the main contact for customers, ensuring a smooth aftersales experience and supporting the workshop in maintaining efficiency and productivity.

The role involves booking service/ MOT/repair work, providing accurate estimates, updating customers on progress, upselling additional work, and managing invoices. UK driving licence is required and Kerridge/Pinnacle experience is desirable.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good sales and upselling ability.
• Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Exeter

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Basic £34,000 - £38,000 OTE

Hours: Monday-Friday + Saturday rota

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and well-established dealership in Exeter.

You'll be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional aftersales experience while supporting the workshop in maintaining efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• - Booking in vehicles for service, MOT, and repair work
• - Providing accurate estimates and gaining customer approval
• - Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and costs
• - Upselling additional work, services, and products
• - Liaising with the workshop and technicians
• - Managing invoices and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• - Delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction (CSI)

Requirements

• - Previous experience as a Service Advisor
• - Strong communication and customer service skills
• - Good sales and upselling ability
• - Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• - Experience with systems like Kerridge / Pinnacle (desirable)
• - Full UK driving licence
