Job summary

Jago Consultants are seeking a Volvo Service Advisor in Poole, United Kingdom. The role involves welcoming customers, booking vehicles into the workshop, liaising with the workshop to track progress, and delivering excellent service.

You will provide ongoing customer support, update on car status, and participate in upselling while maintaining high standards of organisation. Salary package includes £25k base with £33k OTE, working hours Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Book vehicles into the technical workshop.
• Liaise with the workshop to track progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service and arrange onward travel for customers.
• Maintain relationships with customers and update them while their car is in the workshop.
• Keep product knowledge up to date through manufacturer-led training.
• Adopt a sales approach to upsell.
• Maintain housekeeping and orderly administration.

Job description

The successful candidate for our Volvo Service Advisor position will have previous experience in a similar role and proven customer service skills.

You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Service Advisor position involves:

• Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day.
• Booking vehicles into the technical workshop.
• Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles' progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time.
• Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their car is in our workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers.
• Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training.
• Adopting a sales approach regarding upsell.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

Salary Package:

£25k Basic and £33k OTE (uncapped)
