Job summary

Holden & Holden Ltd, a Volvo dealership in Norwich, is seeking an enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our busy workshop and service teams. You’ll ensure the right parts are available when needed, supporting technicians and customers with a professional parts operation.

We value accuracy, strong communication and teamwork, with opportunities to develop product knowledge and customer service skills in a busy retail and service environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a motor trade Parts Department, ideally with dealership experience.
• Excellent organisational skills with accuracy under pressure.
• Confident communication with customers, technicians and suppliers.
• Comfortable using computerised parts and stock systems.

Responsibilities

• Supplying parts to workshop and retail customers.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our busy Volvo dealership.

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our workshop and customers have the right parts, at the right time. You’ll work closely with our technicians, service team, suppliers and customers to deliver an efficient and professional parts operation.

What you’ll be doing

• Supplying parts to our workshop and retail customers
• Identifying and ordering genuine Volvo parts
• Checking availability, pricing and delivery times
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and carrying out stock checks
• Receiving, checking and correctly storing incoming parts
• Processing parts invoices and maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with the Service and Sales departments
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
• Providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone
• Ensuring the Parts Department is organised, efficient and compliant with company procedures

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced within a motor trade Parts Department, ideally with dealership experience
• Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure
• Confident communicating with customers, technicians and suppliers
• Comfortable using computerised parts and stock systems (ideally Pinnacle)
• Commercially aware and able to identify opportunities to maximise parts sales
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
• Able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail
