Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for a busy Aftersales team in Watford. The role offers a strong salary package and significant earning potential within a established main dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will have VAG experience or relevant qualification, or strong Service Advisor experience from other automotive backgrounds. Monday to Friday, with 1 in 5 Saturdays, and a clear path for career development.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and customer-focused service throughout the vehicle's time in the workshop.
• Book vehicles into the Service Department and accurately establish customer requirements.
• Discuss technical issues and repair requirements with customers.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle.
• Liaise closely with Technicians and Workshop Control to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Identify and promote additional repair and maintenance opportunities.
• Prepare accurate estimates and invoices.
• Handle customer queries and resolve any concerns professionally.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

1 in 5 Saturdays: 08:30am - 4:00pm

Our client, a successful main dealership based in Watford, is looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy Aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor looking for a strong salary package, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to develop their career within an established dealership environment.
VAG experience or relevant qualification is preferred, although candidates with strong Service Advisor experience from other automotive backgrounds will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade.
• Previous main dealership experience is highly desirable.
• VAG experience or qualification preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident dealing with customers and discussing technical requirements.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, target-driven environment.

• £40,000 - £45,000 OTE, dependent on experience.
