Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor for our dealership in Watford. You will be the primary contact for customers through servicing and repairs, book appointments, and update customers on progress.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers during servicing and repairs.
• Book workshop appointments and complete pre-appointment calls.

• Liaise with technicians regarding repairs.
• Explain maintenance recommendations clearly to customers.
• Identify upselling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and deliver excellent service.

Service Advisor - Watford

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a busy dealership in Watford. Applicants must have strong customer service and communication skills, experience working in a target-driven environment, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Previous automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Salary: £34,000 basic + bonus

Service Advisor Role

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout servicing and repairs
• Book workshop appointments and complete pre-appointment calls
• Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and completion times
• Liaise with Vehicle Technicians and workshop colleagues regarding repairs
• Explain maintenance and repair recommendations clearly to customers
• Identify suitable additional service and repair opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer records and deliver excellent customer service

Service Advisor Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Previous experience working in a target-driven role
• Confidence identifying customer needs and appropriate upselling opportunities
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous Service Advisor or automotive Aftersales experience is advantageous
• Previous VAG experience or a relevant VAG qualification is desirable
