Auto Skills UK is seeking a professional Service Advisor in Farnborough to join our busy automotive service department. You will be the first point of contact for customers, book servicing, liaise with technicians and keep customers updated on progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administration abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Professional and proactive approach.
• Good IT and administrative skills.
• Automotive or commercial vehicle experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and maintenance.
• Greeting customers and discussing their vehicle requirements.
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle.
• Liaising closely with Workshop Technicians and the Parts Department.
• Raising and managing job cards.
• Providing accurate estimates and obtaining customer authorisation for additional work.
• Promoting additional products, services and repairs where appropriate.
• Ensuring all customer queries are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Managing vehicle collection and handover.
• Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records.
• Supporting the Service Department in achieving customer satisfaction and performance targets.
