Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy Main Car Dealership in Oxford. The role involves ensuring high standards of customer care and managing service and repair work for vehicles. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and hold a full driving licence. A competitive salary package is offered, with a basic around £28K and OTE of £40K.

Qualifications

• 2-years experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with a main dealership.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles.
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs.
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements.
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system.
• Update customer and vehicle records.
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy.
• Preparation and completion of invoices.

We are currently working with a busy Main Car Dealership. Our client prides itself on delivering a consistently high standard of customer care at all time. An opportunity has arisen for experienced Service Advisor to join their current team.

As Service Advisor you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

Responsibilities

• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements

Requirements

• 2-years experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with a main dealership
• Full driving licence

Hours

Monday – Friday 8:00AM-6:00PM

Saturdays 8:00AM-12:30PM on a 1-in-3 rota

Package

Basic circa £28K, OTE £40,000
