Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership in St Helens, Merseyside, for a Service Advisor. You will be the primary contact for vehicle servicing and repairs, explain options and upsell where appropriate.

Ideal candidates will have experience in motor trade, excellent communication, and knowledge of Kerridge or similar dealership software. The role offers a competitive salary (£32,000) with uncapped OTE and progression opportunities.

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Kerridge or similar dealership management software is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and serve as the primary contact for vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Clearly explain service options, additional products, and upsell opportunities.
• Accurately record customer vehicle details and requirements.
• Manage appointment scheduling and provide vehicle updates to customers.
• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
• Liaise with workshop team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.
• Handle customer queries, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Promote service and accessory sales to maximise departmental performance.
• Maintain a clean and professional reception area, upholding high standards of customer service.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established automotive dealership in St Helens, Merseyside, for the position of Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to join a reputable company recognised for delivering outstanding customer service and industry excellence.

• Competitive basic salary of £32,000, with an uncapped OTE of approximately £38,000
• Monday to Friday working week, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis
• Up to 34 days of annual leave, including bank holidays
