Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting an experienced Service Advisor for an established automotive dealership in Ipswich. You will manage customers through the service and repair process, from booking into the workshop through to collection, delivering high levels of customer service.

The role requires strong automotive knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a busy workshop. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays, offering a competitive

• Previous Service Advisor / Aftersales experience.
• Strong automotive knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
• Professional, positive and commercially aware approach.

Responsibilities

• Booking customers and vehicles into the workshop
• Preparing job cards and repair orders
• Discussing vehicle requirements and repair work with customers
• Providing estimates and keeping customers updated
• Liaising closely with Technicians and the Workshop Controller
• Identifying additional work and upselling where appropriate
• Managing customer expectations
• Handling queries and resolving issues professionally
• Ensuring vehicles are completed and ready for collection
• Delivering a consistently high level of customer service

The Role
