Hartwell Automotive Group Limited in Abingdon is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team representing Omoda/Jaecoo, Ford Car and Commercial Vehicles, and GMW Ora. You will greet customers and manage service appointments with a focus on clear communication and seamless liaison between customers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a service advisor role (automotive preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic technical knowledge of vehicles (training provided).
• IT proficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and admin skills, including familiarity with dealer software systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
• Schedule and manage vehicle service appointments.
• Liaise between customers and technicians.
• Explain repair work and costs clearly.
• Upsell additional services when appropriate.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient workshop flow.
• Liaise with technicians to coordinate the work schedule and progress updates.
• Accurately manage booking systems, job cards, invoicing and customer records.
