Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with Avonmouth facility. The Vehicle Service Advisor will greet customers, manage workshop diaries, prepare estimates, handle calls and invoices, and support front-of-house operations.

The role offers a starting salary of £32,000 per annum, 33 days leave, pension, on-site parking and ongoing manufacturer training. 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, in a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a busy automotive environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Excellent organisational and IT skills; familiarity with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS is advantageous.
• Previous experience with commercial vehicles or in the commercial vehicle industry is desirable.
• Ability to deliver a high standard of service consistently.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming first impression.
• Book appointments and manage workshop diaries efficiently.
• Prepare estimates and gain customer authorisation for work.
• Handle incoming phone calls, email enquiries, and customer queries.
• Prepare job cards, ensuring accuracy in paperwork.
• Communicate with the workshop controller and technicians regarding vehicle status.
• Update customers on progress throughout the service process.
• Process payments and issue invoices.
• Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
• Support the workshop team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

They are seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their Avonmouth facility.

The Vehicle Service Advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and managing the front-of-house operations efficiently.
