Job summary

Hartwell Automotive Group Limited in Abingdon is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team, representing Omoda/Jaecoo, Ford Car and Commercial Vehicles, and GMW Ora. You will deliver excellent customer service, schedule service appointments and act as the bridge between customers and technicians.

We value clear communication, basic vehicle knowledge (training provided), IT proficiency, and meticulous admin skills to ensure accurate invoicing and records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a service advisor role (automotive preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic technical knowledge of vehicles (training provided).
• IT proficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and admin skills, including familiarity with dealer software systems.
• Neat, professional appearance; team player with keen automotive interest.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
• Schedule and manage vehicle service appointments.
• Liaise between customers and technicians.
• Explain repair work and costs clearly.
• Upsell additional services when appropriate.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient workshop flow.
• Liaise with technicians to coordinate the work schedule and progress updates.
• Accurately manage booking systems, job cards, invoicing and customer records.
