Qualifications

• Ability to manage complex and sensitive investigations from start to finish.

• Willingness to undertake PIP2 investigation training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into serious and fatal collisions.
• Attend collision scenes and interview witnesses and suspects.
• Secure and review evidence while maintaining integrity of exhibits.
• Complete prosecution and coronial files.
• Gather CCTV and conduct house-to-house enquiries.
• Attend post-mortem examinations.
• Keep victims and families updated in line with the Victims Code.
