Job summary

Rygor Auto Heathrow is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller/Manager to join the management team. This is not an admin role; you will own workshop performance, challenge technicians, implement structure, and drive productivity, quality and customer satisfaction from day one.

You will help create a high-performing aftersales operation, working with the Service Manager to build accountability, professionalism and a customer-focused culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy workshop operation with accountability for productivity and quality.
• Proven ability to drive performance and customer satisfaction from day one.
• Strong leadership with hands-on coaching of technicians and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop loading and capacity planning.
• Allocate work based on technician skill and efficiency.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency and utilisation throughout the day.
• Maximise labour sales opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Drive workshop output and profitability.
• Lead, coach and motivate technicians to hit targets.
• Manage WIP, identify delays and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate customer communication on progress and additional work.
• Ensure health and safety and warranty compliance.
