Job summary

G Digital is hiring a Senior User Researcher to turn user insight into meaningful change within complex digital programmes. You will lead end-to-end research in multidisciplinary teams, turning findings into actionable recommendations and challenging assumptions.

You'll work with Service Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers and Agile teams, mentor others and help grow our UCD community while delivering impact for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering User Research within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience in consultancy or client-facing environments.
• Confident engaging with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and influencing decisions.
• Ability to turn complex research findings into clear, practical recommendations.
• Experience with GDS, NHS Service Standards or public sector digital transformation would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end user research across complex digital transformation programmes.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover user needs.
• Turn research findings into actionable recommendations that influence products and services.
• Collaborate with Service Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers and wider Agile teams.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and champion user-centered thinking.
• Support and mentor other researchers while contributing to a growing UCD community.
