An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior UX Designer with a SAAS/Salesforce focus to join a collaborative, cross-functional team working on large-scale, public-facing digital services within government and regulated sectors.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive, accessible design and looking to shape services that genuinely impact citizens' lives. You’ll lead end-to-end UX delivery across agile projects, helping clients and teams navigate complexity with confidence and clarity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead user-centred design across Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases
  • Plan and conduct research, usability testing, journey mapping, and service blueprinting
  • Create wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Align UX with service goals through close collaboration with service designers, business analysts, and technical leads
  • Facilitate workshops and design reviews to support ideation and feedback
  • Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and usability best practices
  • Maintain design intent throughout development by working closely with developers
  • Contribute to or establish design systems and uphold consistent UX strategies across products
  • Represent UX in agile ceremonies, client sessions, and governance discussions
  • Support service assessments aligned with GDS standards
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to growing the wider design culture

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years in UX, interaction design, or digital product design
  • Proven experience leading design for large-scale services, ideally within the public sector
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design and evidence-based decision-making
  • Strong portfolio showcasing experience with GDS service standards
  • Experience designing services for vulnerable or underrepresented user groups
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Miro, and prototyping platforms
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.2), inclusive design, and usability testing
  • Exposure to HTML/CSS to aid developer handoff (not for coding)
  • Familiarity with design governance, agile methodologies, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Eligibility for SC clearance (minimum 5 years continuous residency in the UK)

If you’re a thoughtful, user-first designer looking to work at scale, this role offers the platform and support to take your career to the next level.
