Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group seeks a Senior Traffic Control Systems Engineer to lead high-quality projects across the UK. Based in Epsom or Bristol with hybrid working, the role may involve short-term travel to client sites and overseas schemes.

You will supervise delivery of traffic signal and ITS schemes, engage with clients, mentor junior staff and deliver robust technical reports and cost estimates, ensuring budget, time, and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering traffic signal and ITS schemes from inception to operation.
• Ability to engage clients, manage budgets and guide teams.
• Understanding of design processes, safety standards and CDM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of Traffic Signal and ITS schemes from inception to operation.
• Engage with clients to provide technical advice and progress delivery.
• Develop less experienced staff and manage project teams.
• Prepare and review technical reports and cost estimates.
• Direct and monitor projects, manage risks and budgets.
