Job summary

Atkins Réalis is delivering Traffic Control Systems projects across the UK, focusing on traffic signals, ITS schemes and connected transport solutions. The role involves delivering from inception to operation, providing technical advice to clients, and guiding junior staff while working within a collaborative, multi‑office team.

Responsibilities

• Successful delivery of traffic signal and ITS schemes from inception to operation, including detailed design, FAT, SAT and validation.
• Liaison with clients to provide technical advice, develop opportunities and progress project delivery.
• Assistance and guidance to less experienced staff on technical delivery.
• Delivering technical reports and presentations.
• Developing commercial knowledge, including cost estimates and scopes.
• Managing project tasks: monitoring budgets, raising risks and resolving issues.
• Working both as part of a team and individually, ensuring delivery to budget, time and quality.
