Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Senior Traffic Control Systems Engineer to lead world-class projects across the UK to improve journeys and safety. The role is based in either Epsom or Bristol with hybrid working and possible short-term travel across the UK and overseas.

You will supervise delivery from inception to operation, engage with clients, mentor junior staff and produce detailed reports, while ensuring budget, time and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Traffic Signal and ITS schemes.
• Ability to lead projects from inception to operation.
• Strong client-facing communication.
• CDM safety knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of Traffic Signal and ITS schemes from inception to operation.
• Engage with clients to provide technical advice and progress delivery.
• Develop less experienced staff on technical delivery and project management.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and manage budgets/risks.
