Role description

Senior Technical Specialist

You would be accountable for the successful delivery and ongoing optimisation of Salesforce solutions across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring robust solutions, seamless data integration, and effective user adoption. Should be able to involve in both technical and business-facing meetups requiring strong leadership in guiding project teams through complex Salesforce transformations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead complex Salesforce implementation projects or key phases of larger transformation programmes, ensuring delivery within time, quality, and budget constraints.
  • Serve as a single point of accountability for both clients and internal project teams, spearheading migration initiatives such as Salesforce Classic to Lightning and driving system efficiency gains.
  • Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, including executive-level clients and technical teams.
  • Guide, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional and cross-departmental teams ensuring best practices and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee and execute requirements gathering, technical solution design, and bespoke application development-including custom Lightning apps and process optimisations.
  • Direct the integration of Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies such as Jitterbit, supporting seamless data migrations.
  • Playing role in robust governance structures, conducting regular programme reviews and driving adherence to Salesforce security and sharing / visibility standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance customer engagement and solution effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance and operational success by applying expertise in security configuration, data architecture, and reporting.
  • Deliver clear and concise project communication- both verbal and written- to stakeholders and project teams.
Technical Skills Required
  • 7+ years proven of IT experience
  • Significant Salesforce experience, with a proven record in developing, architecting, and managing large-scale Salesforce implementations.
  • Deep knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and multiple Salesforce clouds.
  • Expertise in integration architecture (REST / SOAP APIs, middleware solutions such as Jitterbit).
  • Strong abilities in data migration, security optimisation, and custom solution delivery.
  • Salesforce Certification: Application Architect, Sharing & Visibility, Data Architecture, AI, Platform Developer.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management, client engagement, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives, including platform migrations, complex enhancements, and process automation.
  • Excellent communication-assertive, clear, and adapted for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and scope changes.
  • Recognised for mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering high-impact solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-project settings, consistently delivering transformative business outcomes.
