The Senior Talent Partner will lead strategic talent acquisition initiatives across Greene King, focusing on proactive talent forecasting, internal mobility, and recruitment for professional and above-grade roles. This role involves strategic planning and specialist recruitment, aiming to align talent acquisition with the broader business goals and workforce planning needs.

Pub Operations

Will be accountable for business units nationally, partnering with key stakeholders across the business and recruiting within your geographical area for managed divisions and Pub Partners including critical roles and operational roles excluding core PLT vacancies.

The primary base at Burton or Bury, with potential for occasional travel to other sites as needed.

Job Description
Your role as Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Management team and HR Business Partners to align strategic talent plans.
  • Partner with the Recruitment Delivery Manager to ensure the execution of high-volume recruitment strategies for corporate entry-level and pub leadership roles within SLAs.
  • Collaborate with wider Senior Talent Partner, Attraction team and Recruiters to ensure recruitment practices are effective across all levels and areas of the business.
  • Engage with external vendors and networks to leverage talent intelligence, and market changes, to enhance talent pipelines, and ensure our hiring approach is inclusive, innovative, and effective.

  • Demonstrable business partnering experience in talent acquisition or wider people teams, with a strong ability to analyse needs and develop hiring forecasts that support long-term workforce needs.
  • Skilled in identifying future talent needs and planning proactive recruitment campaigns to build robust talent pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and insights-led mindset, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in using recruitment technologies, including ATS and CRM systems, to enhance recruitment processes, and improve efficiencies and candidate experiences.
  • Strong understanding and ability to drive inclusive hiring practices that promote diversity and equity within the workplace, and ensure processes are fair and robust.
  • Established networker with a track record of building and maintaining relationships both within and outside the industry, leveraging external insights and best practices to enhance our approach.
  • Innovative thinker with a proven ability to solve complex recruitment challenges, driving continuous improvements and creative solutions in talent acquisition.
