Senior Surveyor to Senior Associate – Infrastructure Services

Location: Market Harborough (Hybrid).
Type: Permanent, Full‑Time (37.5 hours; part‑time & flexible hours considered, minimum 30 hours).
Salary: £55,000 + Benefits

The Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Surveyor through to Senior Associate level professional to join the Infrastructure Services division. The role encompasses full lifecycle project management—from routing and planning through to construction and completion—along with the delivery of consultancy services such as benchmarking, procedural development and management systems support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing infrastructure projects at local, regional and national scale.
  • Providing expert land consultancy services for maintenance programmes and new infrastructure installations.
  • Advising clients on landowner engagement and negotiation strategies.
  • Undertaking land referencing, statutory notice preparation, compensation negotiations and rights acquisition.
  • Liaising with landowners and managing public enquiries.
  • Supporting wider business projects across the division.
  • Preparing professional reports and updates for clients.
  • Mentoring and supporting graduates within the team.
The Candidate
  • MRICS or AssocRICS qualified.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent IT proficiency.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrable experience building strong, long‑term professional relationships.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
