Senior Support Worker

Permanent

Location: Community Support in Norfolk and Suffolk

38 hours a week

Salary £27,650

We are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker on behalf of one of our clients who support young children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

This is a rare and exciting opportunity ideal for someone with experience supporting both children and young adults in a senior supporting setting current or most recent.

The role is full-time and requires flexibility, including some weekend work and availability during school holidays. The position is split between three days of Senior Support and two days dedicated to administrative duties, ensuring high-quality care and efficient service delivery.

The Role
  • To provide high-quality, nurturing, and consistent care to children and young people, supporting them to achieve positive outcomes in line with their individual care and support plans.
  • Lead shifts effectively, ensuring staff deployment, clear communication, and continuity of care.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to the staff team while ensuring that the service maintains a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes each young person's welfare, independence, and development.
