Stockport / Cheshire / South Trafford You will be responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers.

As a Senior you will be the vital link between our customers and our care service. You will use your skills of analysis to turn each Clients requirements into a bespoke home care service that exceeds their expectations. Some of your duties will include: working with the care coordinator to find the right care worker to match the customer’s requirements; introduce care workers to the customer and keep the customer up to date with any changes to their care plan, working alongside the team in the field ensuring the highest level of care is being provided.

Communication skills are key in this vital role.

You must show confidences in your communications.

You must be able to build strong relationships with our customers, our care team and other professionals.

You will be responsible for taking new care workers through the induction process and provide them with on‑going guidance, training and supervision, enabling them to provide the best possible home care service to customers.

Required experience : At least two years’ experience in a support worker role ideally within the domiciliary care sector

Duties will include :

• Carry out customer needs assessments, care and support plans and risk assessments / Office hours
• Attending customer’s first call to introduce the Care Workers
• Organise and attend customer care plan reviews, including reviewing and updating of needs assessment, care plan and risk assessment documents
• Assist Care Co‑ordinators to allocate unassigned calls during office hours as appropriate
• To allocate all unassigned calls during on‑call hours and, where visits can’t be assigned, undertake the visit personally
• Ensure that all changes to care schedules are reported, without delay, to the Care Manager
• Undertake on‑call duties as directed and record and report all on‑call activity to the office
• Undertake field based training to ensure Care and Support Workers are working within their competency level
• Ensure all reporting and recording documents are kept up‑to‑date
• Liaise closely with colleagues and other care professionals
