Job summary

Indesure Recruitment seeks an experienced Subsidence Claims Team Leader to join a leading loss adjusting and claims management company in the UK. You will oversee a team of Subsidence Claims Handlers, ensuring claims progress from notification to settlement with expert technical support.

You will lead, coach and develop the team, manage workloads, monitor SLAs and KPIs, and provide guidance on complex subsidence investigations and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in subsidence claims handling within insurance or loss adjusting.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory ability.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; proactive in coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Subsidence Claims Handlers.
• Oversee workloads, allocations and team performance against SLAs.
• Provide technical guidance on complex subsidence investigations and reinstatement.
• Monitor team KPIs and quality standards; conduct regular coaching sessions.
• Handle escalated claims, complaints and technical referrals.
• Coordinate with insurers, surveyors, contractors and policyholders.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and service levels.
