Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. in Leeds is helping a structural steel specialist recruit a Senior Planner to develop and manage detailed tender and live project programmes. You will coordinate across Estimating, Commercial, Production and Construction to ensure delivery.

The role focuses on sequencing, dependencies and critical path analysis, with collaboration across multiple teams to meet deadlines and optimise project flow for UK/Europe work. 37.5-hour week; benefits include pension and health plan.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience with Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6.
• Experience producing detailed project programmes from information supplied by multiple disciplines.
• Solid understanding of programme logic, dependencies, critical path analysis and sequencing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, tender information and project documentation.
• Experience working to demanding tender and project deadlines.
• Confidence to obtain, coordinate and challenge information across different teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed tender, pre-construction and live project programmes using Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6.
• Build programmes around real fabrication, construction, resource and sequencing requirements.
• Coordinate information from Estimating, Commercial, Production and Construction to create one clear delivery programme.
• Identify critical paths, dependencies, risks and constraints before they become problems.
• Challenge assumptions and work with operational teams to find practical alternatives where required.
• Maintain programmes throughout the project lifecycle, communicating progress, priorities and key dates to the wider team.
