Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Structural Steelwork to lead major projects in London. You’ll own programmes from mobilisation through erection to handover, coordinating site and workshop operations, managing client relationships and delivering on time and budget.

You’ll bring at least five years of steelwork project experience, a solid grasp of construction methods, and proven ability to manage teams, plans, risks and costs on complex installations.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience managing steelwork/heavy construction projects.
• Strong understanding of steel construction methods, materials and site operations.
• Ability to interpret structural/shop drawings and 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from planning and mobilisation through erection, QA and handover.
• Develop clear programmes and lookahead schedules for priorities and deadlines.
• Organise subcontractors, labour, lifting operations and other trades in advance.
• Lead site meetings and maintain regular client/engineer communication.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, variations and contractual obligations with the commercial team.
