You will develop safe, practical, cost-effective structural solutions and work closely with clients, project teams, and suppliers from concept through to completion.

The role emphasizes design development, calculations, code compliance, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality steel structures on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experienced structural engineer with steel design experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and design principles.
• Experience with steelwork projects across the UK/Europe.
• Proficient with Tekla Structural Designer and Fastrak tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Designs structural steel solutions for projects.
• Produces and reviews structural calculations for safety and compliance.
• Applies loadings and analyzes stresses and load paths.
• Works from drawings, specs, and client requirements.
• Develops designs using industry software and codes.
• Coordinates with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supports tendering and provides technical bids.
• Keeps up to date with standards and best practices.
