Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Senior Planner - Structural Steel to shape and drive delivery programmes across estimating, commercial, production and construction. You will convert multi‑disciplinary input into actionable plans and monitor progress against critical milestones.

The role requires strong experience with Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6, a solid grasp of scheduling logic, and the ability to challenge assumptions with practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project planning or programming within construction.
• Proficiency with Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret drawings, tender information and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed tender, pre-construction and live project programmes using Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6.
• Build programmes around real fabrication, construction, resource and sequencing requirements.
• Coordinate information from Estimating, Commercial, Production and Construction to create one clear delivery programme.
• Identify critical paths, dependencies, risks and constraints before they become problems.
• Challenge assumptions and work with operational teams to find practical alternatives where required.
• Maintain programmes throughout the project lifecycle, communicating progress, priorities and key dates to the wider team.
